Welcome To Brouillet
Welcome To Brouillet

kids at tableDear Brouillet Families,

What a great start to the school year! It is so great to see all of our returning Bobcats, and I love seeing all the new faces too. Brouillet is a great place to learn!

As you’ve probably noticed, it’s getting more and more crowded at Brouillet. As of today, we have 737 students enrolled. Our school was built for only 550 students, so we’ve had to get creative to find classroom space. This year, most of our 6th grade students are in portable classrooms on the Stahl Junior High campus.

I know you’ve seen the construction that is happening all over Puyallup. As families move in to our area, our school enrollment will continue to rise. Last year the voters approved a bond measure to replace, expand, and build elementary schools. These projects will have a positive impact on our enrollment at Brouillet, providing relief to our overcrowding issues. However, we will continue to face overcrowding at Brouillet until a new elementary school opens in 2019
For more information about the construction projects, please see the Puyallup School District website. You can also find information there about upcoming community construction information nights to be held in October.

Until September of 2019, we’ll continue to use our limited space creatively to meet the educational needs of our limited space creatively to meet the educational needs of our Brouillet Bobcats!
