Hello, Brouillet Families!

We are one third of the way through the 2019-2020 school year and settling in to cooler weather and school routines. We continue to build our AVID culture through Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization, and Reading (WICOR). Last year we focused on organizational skills. We will continue that skill this year, along with building our writing skills through the active process of taking focused notes.

We honored students at our first PAWS assembly of the year for their outstanding character.  Students were recognized for being Positively Responsible, Always Respectful, Excellent, Safe and Successful. We will be celebrating our next round of students in January.

Extracurricular activities are abuzz with our Bobs and Cats in choir performing at school and out in our community. Band and orchestra are underway and we have afterschool connections with Art Wizards and Good News Clubs.  Amazing field trips have also offered more community connections!

Our PTA sock fundraiser is still underway. Huge shout out to our PTA for coordinating fundraisers, organizing our Art Night and Reflections project, and supplying a fun ice cream bar at our Fall bookfair.  We look forward to a movie night in January. Please reach out if you are available to help in any way!

We continue to appreciate the patience of entering, parking, and exiting Brouillet campus. We look forward to returning in January for the New Year!
